Sweaty, but not complaining.
I just got back from my 2nd "training" run. It was only 5 miles, I ran it in 40 min. 22 sec. with the average pace of 8:03 per mile. Which is ok with me. I ran from my house to White Oak Rd. to 372 to the post office in town, to get my mail then walked home up the hill. I try to walk to the post office every weekday. And then as soon as I get my mail out of my box i start opening the pre-addressed envelopes from my great sponsors. At the rate I am receiving donations I should reach my goal of $5,000! I try to enter my offline donations daily to my fundraising web-site so people can see my progress. I haven't had any donations on my site but maybe someone will be brave and do it.
I ran my 1st "training" run on Sunday it was only 4 miles, but very windy which kind of slowed me down I ran it in 32 min. 49 sec. with the average pace of 8:09 per mile. I really need to start getting quicker, but that is what all this training is for I suppose.
