Today's run was pretty good, it didn't feel like it was going to quickly but was fine once I was done. Thanks to Kirst's Ipod!!!! Today is a hard day it is my Pop-pop's birthday and I miss him very much! So I ran in West Grove near my grandparents old house. I am going to go swimming since I have off today. I have to work all weekend but have off Monday and Tuesday and going away those few days that will be a nice break, that is needed!!! I am pleased with my run today! Good pace!!!! "Training" numero 12: 1:24:21, with an average pace of 8:24 so that is pretty good I think my best 10 miler so far! Next week I up it to 12, that will be the most I have ever run, but I am sure I will be fine!! I am off to enjoy this day!

Crappy...
that is how my run was today. I felt like I haven't run in days and I hate that feeling, I would rather run everyday but it's not suggested! "Training" run #11: this is embarrassing!!! 22:50 with an average pace of 8:25/mi. Ok well I have work to do for my father.

Wet and WINDY!!!
It was rainy and windy and I didn't want to do it, but then after my 6 miles were up I could have ran better and longer. So "training" run #10: 50:50 with an average pace of 8:25/mi. Now I must hurry and get ready to go to work until 8 tonight. It is going to be long but I hope to make good money. And hopefully Debbie figured out something so I can have off on Friday, because there is no way I am running 10 miles and then going to work and also working all weekend. My ankle is fine now, but while I was running today something was wrong with my shoes. I think I had them laced a hole too high or something, so we will see. I have to wash my sneakers again today, atleast they have tomorrow to dry. Hopefully it won't be raining on Thursday when I have to run. I need the sun! I live for the summer and the heat! I love you sun come back!

5 wet miles!
So it rained steady the entire time I ran. Thanks to my The North Face jacket it kept my body dry the entire time. I am like obsessed with The North Face. In the middle of the night my ankle started to bother me it feels like it needs to be cracked, its not pain but not comfortable, it didn't really bother me at all on my run. So hopefully it just needs stretched out or something. I really hope that I get some donations tomorrow in the mail. I will send out a few more letters today, since what else am I going to do on this rainy day that I have off. Oh my "training" run # 9 results are 41:12 with an average pace of 8:13. I really need to sit and change around and better set up my blog. It is kind of boring. I need to catch up on html, I haven't used it in like 8 years. Today I started to download some songs onto my laptop. So soon I will probably buy myself a MP3 player or Ipod. I used Kirst's Ipod last week, that was great, I don't even hear my poor breathing or think about my poor form, plus also her playlist is quite amusing also, I love her!! I have also been reading and looking up info. on the new Garmin Forerunner 205, I want it so bad, it does everything that my Forerunner 201 does but is smaller and prettier! This is a side by site picture of them. The 201 is quite bulky but I use it every runner. I love it, it is a great investment, I don't think I could be so committed to running if I didn't have it. I have it set up to beep every mile. If I didn't have a watch telling me my distance I would be lost and would have given up or not even started TNT I am sure! I guess I will go get some TNT stuff done and tend to my wet running clothes and sneakers. I really need to add running pictures to this site and my TNT fundraising site.

10 miles, check!
"Training" run #8 is beyond me. It was like so: 1:27:42 with an average pace of 8:42, so that was pretty good, what wasn't good was the taste of the HORRIBLE Razz Sorbet Clif Shot, never again! I did take some Sports Beans with me, they taste good. I think they will be my top training choice. I do have some Clif Bloks to try the next long run. The last two long runs I have had some sort of gel or the Sports Beans, I have felt so much better after, usually I feel like I am going to pass out and have to lay down on the floor or have someone watch me. So hopefully this will continue to work for me. When I stopped running today I did feel like I could have ran longer. After my 10 miles was up I walked about 1.5 mile to the post office and I didn't get any donations again today!! I don't know what is up with that! Ok well I am going to go eat something!

Once again...
I am not so pleased with my 3 mile performance! "Training" run 7: 21:34 with an average pace of 7:09/mile. AND no mail today! I hope today gets better! I think omy major problem has been my poor diet lately, which is something that is always an issue with me and probably will be for the rest of my life! But, I gotta keep on trucking...I have people that are counting on me to do this, their lives depend on my help! PLEASE HELP by donating to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!

Enjoying the sun, now that it finally decided to come out!
I ran 5 miles starting at my house, ran down High St. to 372 to Gap Rd. to Williams Run until my watch beeped telling me it was my 5th mile. Then I walked/jogged the rest of the way to the post office and got my mail, 3 letters today! Awesome! Right now I have $1861 in my LLS account, which is awesome! Thanks to a special friend who increased that by donating $500!!! So “training” run 6, was like this 40:58 with an average pace of 7:59/mile, I ran a little over 5 miles, I am pretty pleased with the run today. Then I walked to the post office from out by Williams Run, got a letter that made me feel really good about what I am doing. Some days I feel like I am the only one that really cares about doing this which is ok, but makes it hard. But, I know what I am doing will effect a lot of peoples lives, not just patients but their families. I have been trying to upload the letter that I got in the mail today all morning but was unsuccessful, but I will keep on trying. Have a good one! I have to go enjoy this lovely afternoon that I have off!

Quick run, well I didn't run it too quick, but I have to hurry and get my run finished for the day.
I just ran my 5th "training" run, it was only 5 miles today. I was kind of dreading it, only because I have to hurry and get ready to go to work for 10 hours, which is going to be no fun at all! And it is supposed to be over 90 degrees today and I have to work inside all days. Oh well, hopefully I will get to go swimming Tuesday and Wednesday! Oh back to my run, I ran it in 42:03 with an average pace of 8:21/mile. Another weird running thing that has been happening to me is when I have like a mile left and my form is worsening, I hit myself in my ankle bone with the bottom of my other shoe. I have done it almost every run this week and right now it's bleeding, it doesn't hurt, but soon it is going to look nasty if I keep it up. Ok must go get ready to go to work!! BLET!
This is how my toe looks now, I took the polish off yesterday it looks better then I thought, but still quite gross.

8 miles today...
Just got back from running 8 miles near the school, my 4th "training" run. I am downloading my info. from my watch....wow, my average pace was really slow. But, it was quite warm because I didn't wake up to later then normal because I went to a concert last night. So I ran a little over 8 miles in 1:14:35, with an average pace of 9:16. But, I am glad I did it. Today I tried the Jelly Belly Sport Beans, they taste really good but I could taste them a few times while running, that's not good, so I will try them a few more times. Also, while running when you "shoot snot," and it goes on your sunglasses that is not too cool, I hate to take off my sunglasses. (Shooting snot, is a bad running habit acquired from my Aunt and something I do way too often with my allergies.) Ok well I am going to go swimming, YEA for the first time this year. And lay out. I am excited. I am glad my run is finished and don't have to worry about doing anything for the rest of the day.

Not so pleased...
I just ran my 3rd "training" run, 3 miles, which is easy. But, I wanted to run it under 21 min. which I easily could, but of course, I failed myself! So I am not so pleased with that at all! I ran it in 21:42, with an average pace of 7:13/mile. So next week when I have to run 3 miles, I will hopefully run it under 20 minutes, I have done it before!!! I am so annoyed but I will just have to go a different route next time. Surprisingly yesterday I recieved not a single donation! In a few I am going to walk to the post office, I am sure I will get some today.

Sweaty, but not complaining.
I just got back from my 2nd "training" run. It was only 5 miles, I ran it in 40 min. 22 sec. with the average pace of 8:03 per mile. Which is ok with me. I ran from my house to White Oak Rd. to 372 to the post office in town, to get my mail then walked home up the hill. I try to walk to the post office every weekday. And then as soon as I get my mail out of my box i start opening the pre-addressed envelopes from my great sponsors. At the rate I am receiving donations I should reach my goal of $5,000! I try to enter my offline donations daily to my fundraising web-site so people can see my progress. I haven't had any donations on my site but maybe someone will be brave and do it.
I ran my 1st "training" run on Sunday it was only 4 miles, but very windy which kind of slowed me down I ran it in 32 min. 49 sec. with the average pace of 8:09 per mile. I really need to start getting quicker, but that is what all this training is for I suppose.
